Skydiving Without A Parachute

I wanted to put something hip here, but that's really not my style. This is a place for me to sound off and speak my mind, but also let you know what I'm up to where I'm at in my life. Hopefully I know where that's at.

Meet the Parents

Right now I'm writing to you from Boston. We're up here to play a match against Boston College. We spent the late morning walking around Quincy Market to get the girls out of the hotel for a little bit so their not sitting around. A lot of times too much down time is bad because the girls get dormant and then its hard to get their energy level up in time for the match.

I haven't been to Boston since I was 16 and came on a family vacation to New England. We got a lot done in a little bit of time. We toured Boston, went to Plymouth, Walden Pond, Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard and then stole a rock off some wall at Lexington and Concord. That prompted my parents to get some sort of rock from basically every national park, landmark, etc. that they visit. They've got Yosemite, Mount Rushmore, Yellowstone and a bunch more all displayed in their flowerbed in front of their house.

We're flying to Maryland tomorrow and my parents are coming down for the football game there. Since my lady friend is traveling with me she'll get to meet my parents tomorrow. I haven't brought that many girls around to meet my parents, actually she might be the first. I haven't done a whole lot of dating and when I have the relationship haven't lasted that long to warrent meeting the folks. I have this bad habit of deciding that the relationship has no future so I cut it off before getting in too far. Probably not a healthy idea, but no one's perfect.

For those of you who have asked about the lady friend, here's what I tell you. We'll call her Amber. She's taller than I am, older than I am, a widow, got a daughter and her parents live with her. No I'm not making any of this up. This is all you get, for now.
